Farmer Mike

Born and raised in Uxbridge, Ontario, Mike always had a deep love for animals, health, and big ideas. These passions sparked his curiosity about where our food comes from and how it’s raised, leading to a dream of creating clean, sustainable food sources free from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals. From a young age, he worked tirelessly in the trades, saving every dollar to one day turn his dream into reality.

In 2019, that dream came true when Mike purchased his first piece of land in Verner, Northern Ontario. What started as a single property has grown into over 800 acres, where Mike raises animals with care, following regenerative agriculture practices that restore the land, nurture biodiversity, and produce exceptional-quality beef. For Mike, farming is more than a career—it’s a way to honor the land, provide sustainable food, and make a lasting impact for future generations.

Marina

When Marina isn’t busy bringing high-quality beef to your table, you’ll likely find her in the food forest she lovingly transformed from a former sod field. What started as a small dream has grown into a thriving ecosystem with over 500 species of perennial fruit trees, berry bushes, native plants, flowers, and herbs. Guided by the principles of regenerative agriculture, she grows nourishing food not just for her family but also for the countless birds, bees, and wildlife that call the forest home.

For Marina, the connection between soil health, the quality of our food, and the well-being of people and the planet is deeply personal. Every time she plants a tree or tends to her forest, she’s reminded of the power of nature to heal and thrive when given care and respect. That same passion fuels her work to bring you beef that’s not just delicious and nutritious but also a reflection of her values—caring for the earth and the people who depend on it.
